Aboard CayLee - Fishing out of Edgartown Harbor |
|||||
Welcome The inshore fishing grounds are some of the best on the east coast. Edgartown Harbor is just around the corner from Nantucket Sound and Wasque Shaols where many tide rips, shoals, and holes provide gathering and feeding spots for Striped bass and Bluefish. Top water spinning, jigging, and trolling are the preferred methods. As the water warms up later in the Summer the Bonita and Little Tuna arrive adding variety in the day. Black sea bass and Flounder are other favorite targets during the season. The run to the fishing grounds is not far from Edgartown harbor and the beautiful scenery around Edgartown, Cape Poge and Chappaquidick looks much the same as it did a hundred years ago. Come catch some fish or just come relax and enjoy the water wilderness of the Vineyard. Thank you, |
